The TOPDON AD800BT OBD2 scanner looks and feels like a quality product. It has a very good quality screen with clear icons. The free lifetime updates are a very valuable inclusion and ensure the unit can always be kept up to date. The wire free Bluetooth VCI plug makes the scanner very easy and convenient to use. Quality piece of kit with free updates
I've had other , cheaper OBD2 scanners in the past that required a windows computer and software off the web which were hit and miss and don't work now but this is leaps and bounds ahead of those.
It's more expensive but has lifetime updates and gives a detailed report and worked on my older vehicles with few issues ('03 Citroen and '06 Ford).
It has a quality feel to it and did not take much setting up.

Light weight with great features..
This is a very good scanner and does a lot of things too much to mention in this review, there are some videos about this scanner on YouTube,
A certain well-known website sells this same item for £400plus, so go on and buy one, it will save you money in the long run. each time my Van went into the garage to find a fault code it was costing me £69 just to plug in!.

Pickup normal cars straight away my Toyota Hilux would not and had to manually put vin etc. in although after this all checks just the same. The separate Bluetooth module for the OBD port is good as can access system outside car. Handy to get a good WiFi signal that is great at updating system which has full updates for life.
