Avtex STH3000 Adjustable Suction Mount TV Antenna

Great buy

TV aerial on motorhome had gone faulty and I was quoted over 400 to replace, as the Avtex had good reviews I thought I’d give it a try. On the old aerial couldn’t get reception when trying it where I live, with this one I got over 20 channels with the aerial in side the van and nearly 200 outside. Looks well made, with all the parts you need for various mounting options. The suction pad seem to work well enough when trying it outside the van, you obviously need to ensure the surface your using is clean. At the moment very pleased, just wish the lead that came with it was longer, as to cover all options need a 10 Meter length. Having said that the lead supplied was of good quality.Read full review

Didn't work as expected

Bought because same make as tele and not a cheap aerial Even with the buster the reception was it n miss plus the suction pad kept coming off on roof and tried on window feel a little let down with product. Read full review

Tv antenna on the cheap

Bought this as a none obvious aerial for wild camping (also have 85cm sat dish) which is a bit in your face when trying to be discreet when parking up for the night. Boosted Aerial.

Works very well with my 16" Cello TV, with both units running off of a 12v motorcycle battery in my day van. I get about 15 hours running time between charges.
An excellent product that had no trouble picking up a signal in the middle of The Cotswolds, you may have to move the aerial around the roof to get the best from it.

A t aerial!

After a lot of research we bought this aerial for dual use in our campervan and in the garden room. It has proved to be a little gem. Working with the Avtex TV, sited inside both van or room, it has been able to pick at numerous TV channels, with excellent picture, sound and subtitles.... it has by far exceeded all our expectations and we are very happy with it.
Pros: lightweight, small, easy to operate and has a 'sucker' arm enabling you to stick it up on windows or surfaces etc. Price... beats a lot of expensive aerials...
Cons: there is not any for us personally, but must add we have only used it in UK and the camping sites so far have always been on open ground - yet to see what happens in a more tree lined area.
All in all for us to this aerial is a little gem .. does exactly what it is suppose to do!Read full review

Brought this to go with a Avtex television in my motorhome. I haven’t tried it out properly but thought I would see if I could get some channels on my driveway. I didn’t use the bracket just the suction cup which I placed at high beside my wind out awning. (It’s seem to stick on pretty well).
Miraculously after the first autotune I received over 100 channels. I’m not sure whether this was pure luck with the positioning of the aerial or whether it’s just a fantastic aerial, I will only find out when I’m off grid in the country.Read full review

A tea STH 3000

I bought this aerial for use in my camper van, after trying to use an indoor aerial without success I decided to try the Avtex as it was advertised for indoor or outdoor use .it is sold with a variety of fixings ,I used the suction fixing on the outside window and to be honest the reception was brilliant just as good as my home TVs setup .with its powered amp this gives a great signal even in poor reception areas .

Great reception, shame about the mount.

Bought this to use with my Avtex tv when the wind prevents me using my roof mounted auto satellite.
I tried out the Aerial with the motorhome parked on my drive and with the aerial just stood on the kitchen bench without any adjustment had 80 + channels using the tv auto tune.
The only issue I had was as others have said the suction mount is not up to the job and repeatedly falls of any surface I tried it on.
Apart from the mount a good unit. I will clean the suction mount and whatever surface I attach it to when I use the aerial in anger in the near future.Read full review
