The Older Version was Better (not by much though)

The older version, had a lot more exfoliant "grit". It had super-micro-fine exfoliants back then, combined in a thick toothpaste textured base. Now it's still good, but the exfoliants are in too much gel. Old and new versions leave a refreshing mint feeling. Good for people allergic to salicidic acid- the benzethonium chloride is just as effective on acne. Good quality and price. Will buy again :-)Read full review

Good Product

Avon Clearskin Scrub is a very good product and I'm glad I was able to find it again after several years of having not used it. I had excellent results using it in my younger years but I remember the older version as having more of the "scrub" particles in the compound and it did a better, faster job of cleaning pores. This newer version seems to have fewer scrub particles and is therefore more gentle (I suppose that's better for the ladies) but I liked the more aggressive scrub action better. Both the older formula and the new product did/do a great job and leave my skin clean and refreshed. I like it a lot and will continue to be a return customer now that I've found a good source for the product again.Read full review

Fine yet densely gritty formula - feels like it gives the skin and pores a good cleansing. Only takes a tiny bit for each scrub - I like to use it in shower - easier to rinse.
