One of the best studio headphones in the game. Sound quality is amazing and picks up the low and high frequencies well! The extra cords are handy for all the different rooms we use it for.

Extremely good headphones

The headphones are excellent. I plug them into my receiver and then use my iPod or phone and slip into music heaven. I have a very good system, but at night I can't really blast music like a teenager. Put these puppies on and no more neighbor worries. I've used them for movies and they also sound great. Just get them.

In a nutshell, the sound is solid across the range with nothing added, nothing lacking. The bass is very solid without that silly boominess other phones over emphasize. Voices are very natural. Highs are crystal clear. Much more comfortable and lightweight than they appear. Ear cups are very large and not as warm as I feared. Build quality is excellent and cords lock solidly. Look at any reviewers list of top headphones. Many different ones will be listed and I'm sure they all have merit. But these phones are virtually on everyone's list. Buy them. I bought these headphones to shoot film and monitor the “noise” levels and then to help me edit the video in post production. These headphones sound great but aren’t the greatest in noise cancelling, which is fine because they don’t claim to be noise cancelling headphones.
