Audio_Technic ATR 3350

The Audio Technica ATR 3350, great product for the price. Lets start with the microphone, Small light weight picks up voice well, add the small wind sock and depending on the placement of the microphone you make not hear any wind noise. I have a habit of taking a small piece of gaffers tape to secure the mic cable in place in addition to just using the clip it come with. The clip itself could be more solid, but has no bearing on performance. The on off switch an battery holder work well. The battery is not to difficult to change out. The sound produced by this mic is great. I have read other reviews that say the sound is horrible.I run the mic into a mixer, a Behringer or Alesis then into a sound program by the time the audio files are worked some of the things pointed out regarding sound really didn't matter. Nobody likes to spend hours in post production trying to make a bad sound...sound good. If you are running this mic thru a mixer and your levels are set, hey you can have a great mic at a super price. I do my own work, and for what I do ..is a great mic i can take on location. I have 4 of them.Read full review

GREAT affordable mic. Need extra cable to use with smartphone.

Great Mic. Watch the Youtube comparisons of the ATR3350 and other, more expensive mics, you can barely hear a difference. This also has a pretty long cable which is nice.
One thing... If you want to use it with a smartphone, you need a conversion cable. And don't ask Adorama for the correct cable -- they'll try to sell you a headphone extension cable - - - whatever.Read full review

Quality for cheap!!!

Not too many items are mass produced these days, that are well made, and at a cheap price... These are the exception! Very high quality sound, at a budget price. Aside from a little trouble fidgeting the battery in, it would be perfect. That's why it gets 4.999999999% stars.Read full review

jury is still out

using in motorcycle helmet for instructional videos, some issues with noise clarity due to mic being to close to mouth, trying different sponge and fur covers but not right combination yet, other users recommend this mic but jury is still out for me.Read full review

Great wee Flute mic

I use this mic for my portable amp setup for my North American native flutes. It works very well. No complaints at all.

Mainstay Of Low Budget Videographers

The pickup of this self powered mic is clean. There is enough sensitivity for most any non-studio project you may have in mind. you probably don't need to look any further.
