Very compact unit, maybe too compact.

We bought this to allow the use of a Sennheiser PC headset with separate microphone and speaker jack plugs, and we wanted to be able to plug this into a rugged mobile phone case which had a small diameter hole in it for the TRRS plug.
We found that while the headphones and microphone plug would fit its socket OK, and either microphone or headphones function would work OK, the spacing between the two sockets on the adaptor is about 5mm too small to allow both to be plugged in at the same time.Read full review

perfect for facebook live djing with some work

i bought this for djing live on facebook, and it works well, but does take some setting up, best way to check if your phone is compatible , i used a headset and started facebook live selected audio stream only , then checked if it was picking sound from headset not the phone.

my phone is honor 7 lite and this addator does just what i need, only thing i would say is my phone needed mic and headphones pluged in at the same time to register, and the inputs are very close together so be aware

A Simple To Use Adapter.

Small and discrete. Does its job as advertised. The headphone socket is a TR1R2S 3.5mm mini jack and works OK with TRS jack equipped headphones. The Microphone input is a 3.5mm TRS socket with the R & S contacts tied together, making any mic plugged into it un-balanced, but as the input to the phone uses this wiring standard anyway this won't be an issue. A point to note that the two sockets are close together to if you are using larger diameter bodied jacks, two wont fit into the adapter at the same time. Recommended.Read full review

Too small for both plugs

Unfortunately the jack inputs are too close together to actually fit both plugs (microphone and earphones) in at the same time. If you only need one of these connected, then it should be fine.

Headset conversion

Nice product well made, holes are quite close together and so if the shrouding on the single jacks is too thick then it can be difficult to fit into the female socket. Otherwise good item.
