Very effective, but with limits

That stuff works really, really well, but you need to set your expectations as it does not work wonders:

If you expect it to tackle a year's worth of burned-in food scraps in the oven, you'll be disappointed. But it tackles almost everything else with ease, really!

And for that price you'll have an oven nice and shiny when used on a monthly schedule.

Not up to the job

Sorry, but not Astonished by this product. Purchased it to scrub staining from inside my air fried drawer and outside of a frying pan. Scrubbed vigorously on four occasions with limited results. The only thing it removed as the scouring layer from four sponge pads. Also tried it on oven racks. Although it worked, a stainless steel soap pad would have done a quicker job. . Won't use anything else now I have tried this.

I think I must have tried most brands of oven cleaner and they all make a mess. I kept going back to good old Brillo Pads, but they need a lot of hard scrubbing and the rough pads are not kind to hands. I looked at those kits where you put your oven shelves into a plastic bag of some corrosive liquid, but really didn't like the idea. I have found Astonish cleaning products absolutely great for tough jobs (eg cleaning floor tile grout) so I had no hesitation in buying the oven cleaner online. Must admit I was a bit disappointed when the small box arrived but after the first try at cleaning my oven shelves, I knew there was no need to look any further. All you need to do is rub a damp cloth onto the Astonish and gently rub it onto the oven shelves etc. Gentle rubbing is enough to clean off even burnt on debris (including those awkward bits that collect in corners). Little effort is required to bring oven parts back to looking shiny and new. Read full review

Good stuff

Good non caustic oven cleaner. Hard work as my oven, and in particular the glass door, was a disgrace but now looks like new and I bought it in 1978. Been used most days. Nice not to have the acrid smell and inconvenience of the usual oven cleaners. No need for newspaper on floor and fridge door and no annoying gloves.Well done whoever invented it.

Good product

Good product. I used it inside my enamel oven, using a metal scouring pad, needs a little bit of work but I am pleased with the result. Regarding the oven racks, I tried with a green scouring pad and not good enough
and a metal scouring pad would be too messy, so I will continue to soak them in gel with a bag in future.

Does the job

One has to be careful about the pressure used when using this product as it is enclined to scratch.
I found it better to take off polish directly it dried, then the article came up nice and shinny.

Astonishing, Astonish.

Having tried all the usual top brands of oven and hob cleaners to no avail, I read about this product "Astonish."

The results were amazing. Stains and marks that had refused to move with all the top brands of cleaners, just melted away with an application of Astonish.

This product certainly lives up to its name, and I am sure that you will be "Astonished" with the results.

Astonish

Fairly good product, does remove grease. It takes a lot of elbow grease to remove any burnt on marks. Works very quick on glass door, not as quick on oven panels.
