ARCAM Hi-Fi is reputedly "Top Gear". Their CD players won all the plaudits back in the day when they were launched and the ALPHA 7 Special Edition was their Top Model. Arcam 7se.

I'm not an audiophile, but I know what sounds good to me, and considering this is a 20 year old cd player, this Arcam 7se unit sounds amazing, Compared to other CD players I've had in the past. And it blows streaming quality music out of the park. You can hear every detail of a song or piece of music, in amazing depth and clarity.
