Arcam Alpha 7 amplifier

Bought this for just under £100. As long as it lasts a while I consider it money well spent, It's powerfull enough for any normal sized room. It' replacing my Ion Obelisk 3X until I get it repaired and though the Arcam is not as good it cost less new.
If you have a tight bugdet I would definately recommend this.

Smoothie

Dropping power from 80 watts per channel to 40 I thought it wouldn't work but boy was I wrong, it actually is somehow more powerful less than 25% volume is more than enough, but better than that is the sound! It is smooth very detailed and having used graphic equalisers to get the right personal emphasis I find this does it all and the sounds I have never heard before on a record played hundreds of times, the phono stage surpasses itself.

Using a Sony cd player as well but maybe should change for a nice Arcam to get the best from cds.

Excellent sound excellent value

Excellent sound love this amp rigged to Dual deck and two sets of B&Ws as you can switch one from to both also. Rotel CD player and personally think it sounds amazing

Always wanted one of these. Very open, clear sound with my Dynaudio speakers. Can be a tad "bright" and bass light on some tracks at lower volumes, but the detail you hear in the music more than makes up for that.Read full review
