Aquila Red Series Aq87 Tenor Ukulele Strings High G 1 Set of 4

I've used nearly all the types of ukulele strings and these are the best. They stay in tune, are louder, better tone and easy on the fingers. I will stick with these from now on.

A string broke in tuning

When I was putting the strings on, the A string snapped as I was tuning it. I was disappointed that it didn't reach the A tuning, leaving me with an incomplete set. I didn't over-wind it, as i was using a tuner to reach the required note.
I would appreciate a replacement of either the A string, or the complete set.Read full review

amazing difference

I fitted them to my tenor uke and was amazed at the difference they make. It sounds louder and much brighter than it did the white Aquila strings. They seem to be made of a much harder material with slightly rough fibrous feel. Because or the harder material the strings are thinner and feel more like metal strings without the tension. The c string in particular really benefits from this.Read full review
