These are not the same as the original apple earphones you get with your Iphone. I compared these to my daughters and they dont have the same sound quality.

I had no idea!

***Update, after using these for only 4 moths, they pooped out on me. And not gracefully. When using them to listen to my iPod, my podcasts were skipping, rewinding, and stopping. After about a week, I just assumed that my iPod was broken, so I ordered a new iPod. That same day, I was using the headphones with my cell, and my calls kept dropping. That's when I realized that the problem was the headphones. They became staticy and I guess that was sending a message to my cell and my ipod. I went back to my old headphones that came with my original iPod, and everything was fine. So weird. Won't buy these again, not even for the price!

I've been using the original buds that came w/ my iPod for so many years. I didn't want to buy a new pair until it was absolutely necessary. Even when it became absolutely necessary, I still hesitated because Apple charges way too much. Then I found these on eBay for such an awesome price. I can't believe I waited so long. They do work on Galaxy s5.

People will say they dont work on android or whatever. The microphone worked. Play, pause and skip worked. Volume did not. At least on my Galaxy s5 they work. Theyre comfy but the Panasonic TCM125K are better imo.Read full review...

No tangle

What I particularly like about these headphones is the cord that doesn't tangle. Easy to untangle when bunched unlike others that leave me frustrated. Sound is great and this style fits in my ears when running and other activities. 3rd time purchasing these as I tend to lose things easily or my teenager takes them!
