Upgrade

As I mainly text and call I have for years used a Nokia 6300. However, I identified a need for e (or M) ticketing for train travel. Not wishing to spend much, after research I deemed an iphone 4 would do the job. It is the right size to fit in a shirt pocket but not so small as to be fiddly to operate. The battery life is good after reading up on what to turn off. The ticket apps were easily found and loaded and there are still plenty of accessories available.

Terrific mobile

Old iphone

it does what it says on the packaging. It is an old iphone 4 with a few battle scars from normal daily use. I set it and gave it to my 85 yr old mother, she is now using Facetime from home on her WiFi connection. She is no IT ninja so anyone can be taught how to just use Facetime.

She thinks face-to-face conversations for free using both end users WiFi is amazing. She cannot hide the smile.

If you don't buy one of these for anyone at home alone with a WiFi connection. Why not?Read full review

When the item arrived & unpacked it I couldnt believe how well in shape it was because it looked like untouched as if I bought it sealed from a store. Before handing it to my dad I tried some heavy usage of it for a few days and Im happy everything works just fine on it all tho iOS 7.1.2 is kinda laggy on A4 chip.. Got it for my dad for light use whos got basic knowledge on technology so it does the job more than well.
