Great device - rubbish handset

Great piece of technology let down by the apalling handset. This awful, counter-intuitive interface made the TV box really hard to use. In the end I had to dig out an old iPod touch to get it set up. Using the app is miles easier than using the handset supplied. If I didn't know better I might think that Apple is trying to force us to buy iphones!Read full review

I was sick to death of all the adverts on Android and Google TV, then there's the removal of dev options, so you can't even install something which will silence all the nonsense.
The Apple TV is excellent, a few clicks and it's rendering all the content, reliably, but without the wall-to-wall nags from other streaming services, or low quality programmes you're unlikely to ever want to watch.

Picture is fantastic, surround sound is much better than I had hoped for, it is so good that it makes you want to buy and try all you favourites, then there comes the problem, especially if like me you like box sets...There seems to be no way to arrange movies in proper order, so box set movies, James Bond ect are mixed all over the place with other box set movies, a complete silly flaw in what could of been an awesome product..Read full review

Bought this to replace an old one. The upgrade is from the complete bottom to the top. The picture is improved and the remote control is almost totally different all for the better.
