Latest release doesn't always mean a better release. Stick with the original
Awesome mouse. Much better than the replacement mouse that Apple produced that needs to be charged when the battery dies. Just change the battery in this and away you go, so much better that leaving your mouse upside down whilst it re-charges......... a bit like a tortoise Read full review

Better than the average mouse
having no cable makes it more versatile inasmuch you can use it more easily and the left/right swipe to change windows or to scroll makes it so useful it makes using a normal mouse seem antiquated.
