Apple MacBook 12-inch MF855LL/A
I love this little laptop! The light weight is fantastic. I added a UAG mil spec case, so it added a little weight and size. Don't let the small size fool you, this little machine will do anything you need. The only complaint I could possibly have is the one USB-C port. I considered this before I purchased it but I do not use a bunch of external devices for it to matter to me. Overall, I am very pleased with this machineRead full review

The product is normally great, but the one I bought has some issues.
While I love the 12” MacBook and it’s capabilities, this used unit I purchased unfortunately has battery issues. Had I known the extent of the issues, I would not have purchased this one. Battery replacement costs for this model are approximately $200 through an Apple Authorized repair facility. This battery is not really DIY replaceable (possible, but not practical...lots of risk involved).
The original Apple MacBook 12” is a great light weight computer with plenty of power to get through demanding tasks, but is not a powerhouse by any means. Be sure to verify battery condition if picking up an older used model.Read full review

Compact!
Everything works well and my daughter loves it for school. However, the battery life isn't very long, so she has to charge it more often, which will be a pain in the neck when she is back on campus.

Update: So I am about to reach a year that I have on this laptop and I have to say that I really love it! It is perfect for what I Do, which is use safari, powerpoint, word, one note, spotify, checking emails. It is fast and reliable. The battery life is good and the screen is gorgeous. 10/10.

Unbeatable price
There is some monor damage to the screen, but that and more was stated in the description. Everything works in this mac, and it's fairly new too. It was a bit dirty when my friend and I recieved our 12" macbooks, so we cleaned them up and were pleased with everything going as expected. My battery lasts much longer than my macbook from 2009, despite it having an upgraded battery. My friend's dies at random times like an iphone 5 if you catch my drift. Both of our computers have their minor issues, but it doesn't affect the performance of the machines. For 300 dollars, a computer that was revolutionary in 2015 and killed the macbook air with its portability, retina screen, updated trackpad, and keyboard, it really us an unbeatable price.
