Apple Mac Mini (500GB HDD, Intel Core i5, ) 2.50 GHz, 4GB RAM) Silver - MD387LL/A

This (almost) 7 year old computer easily exceeds all of my hopes for it.

I bought this machine with the full intention of replacing the HDD with a new SSD. My comments reflect the post-upgrade performance.

The machine works like a dream and performs at least on par with my 2017 MacBook Pro. I have no concerns or complaints about it. There are no cosmetic defects that I can find. The machine was exactly what I ordered.

If you do not intend to replace the HDD with a faster SSD, be aware that app opening times will be slower than you probably expect.Read full review

Love this Mac Mini!

The late 2012 mini with the quad core i7 2.6 chip is the best they ever made. If Apple had them available new I would have bought one, but sadly Apple stopped making a quad core i7 for the mini in 2012. This is my 3rd Mac Mini.Read full review

Great old Mac Mini

I needed this computer to connect to an older printer and it is fast and great for what I needed and I didn't have to spend a lot of money. The annoying part is both Apple and Canon (printer) would not help me to use the printer because they would not provide updated drivers. Cheap mac mini that can still run the latest OS (as of this review)

This is a great way to cheaply get a mac that can still run the latest OS. While old, the SSD that was included in the one I purchased makes it quite snappy.

2012 Mac Mini is not useful for modern MacOS

The version that was lists was from 2012. It is just too slow for the modern OS.I did not know it was a 2012 model as the title was misleading. After upgrading the hard drive to SSD and adding more RAM, it got somewhat usable but I still regret the purchase. Read full review
