It's called a classic for a reason
It is called a classic for a reason. It's good looking, simple to use and just does the job to a high standard. Great size storage and isn't a phone, tv, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, Sat nav, tea strainer and computer all in one that it has been replaced with! Read full review
Refurbished i pod
I have my entire music collection on I pod ,some 14 thousand songs so it's one of my most treasured possessions ,a 160 g b model in silver.I decided whilst funds were available to buy a spare iPod as a back up.The 120 g b black unit I purchased from e bay is ok.It synced with my library as it should and only took a few hours . The unit case was free from any marks or scratches although the screen has a strange kind of water mark or bubble on it that only notices when the unit is off.The only other slight annoyance is that the clickwheel seems kind of stiff which makes it difficult to scroll through albums and songs at any speed. This unit will mainly will be left connected to my home audio system and left on shuffle. As audio manufacturers are no longer making products with I pod comparability and the emphasis now on streaming It makes you wonder if Apple will phase the iPod out.So I'm glad I have two.Read full review

Great for storing large music library
I bought this to replace an original similar product which has served me well for many years. These are no longer made, and it is the only way I can hold my large (~85Gb) music library in an easily portable form. I am delighted that this unit does just that - it has been refurbished and is equivalent to a brand new product. Expensive, but worth it.Read full review

An all time classic with great quality sound and long lasting battery.
An all time classic that Apple should resurrect and release again for the future generations.
Great sound quality and with Rockbox you can get rid iTunes and use drag and drop music files of all kind into it's hard disk.
Battery lasts for many hours of music playing and can last even longer if you upgrade the storage to SD/CF card that uses less power than HDD.
Size and body construction is top, when Apple used to create high quality devices with repair-ability in mind.Read full review

Apple iPod Classic 7th Generation Black (120GB) (Latest Model) Apple iPod Classic 7th Generation Black (120GB) (Latest Model)
A lot more scratches than it was described plus one dent. Other than looks it works fine, which is what really matters.

New old I-Pod
Love it great only problem doesn’t show charge icon when plugged so no idea how much battery on it. And doesn’t resume track where left off has to be re-booted each time turned on, and opens alphabetically but only a small criticism for a great bit of kit at a great price Read full review

Not a Apple fan yet...
First Apple product I have owned.
Ipod arrived loose in large plastic envelope. No bubble rap & for some reason had a blue protective plastic film on the back, nothing protecting the front. The USB in car charger was (in same 17" X 12" envelope) was in manufactures box & much better protected, though able to rub against iPod!
As to use, well still trying to get something loaded on it. Finally gave it to a more Apple savvy friend who is battling with it. Hopefully see it soon.
Can only comment about battery life, which stood up to several days of connecting via computers to iTunes, but would have been charging anyway through connecting cableRead full review

The best there is
I have used an ipod classic every night for the past five years, a 4th gen 60 or 80 gb. While it was good and very happy with it overall, I find this 7th gen has a much better battery, functions are easy and sound quality is fantastic with a set of Bose in ear. A highly recommended setup.Read full review

7th generation ipod classic
The sturdiest model unlike the nearly identical 6th generation it charges using most chargers 30 hours running time is the norm l know the 5th is supposed to have the best sound quality there's not much in it and on a dock or connected to my car via the usb cable nothing and it's more likely to workRead full review
