I waited to get the AirPods.....I just didn’t like the style.....but with no change after a year ...I bought them...although I do not care for the design.....the use and overall design of them are just awesome.....one thing I would change is having the option of volume up down....and pause....options? Excellent All Around Earbuds
I was skeptical that the AirPods wouldn't be able to be the only ones I owned.
After using them for almost two weeks now, I can't see myself buying any others.
- They stay 100% in my ears, even on multi-mile runs.
- I'm more than satisfied with the audio.
- Battery life is great with the easy pop-in charging case.
If I had to improve them in any way, it would be to have some sort of silicone bud that could create a seal. I used to think that all I wanted were in canal buds to give that directed, isolated sound. Well, I don't need that if everything else works so flawlessly.Read full review

Ok fit but great wireless connectivity
I'm kinda disappointed with the fit of the ear buds. They stay in if I'm just walking, but I'm sure any kind of moderate activity like running or lifting weights would cause them to fall out. They fit pretty much like the wired earphones that the iPhones come in, so if those don't completely stay in your ear then these probably won't either. That's the bad part.
The great part about these AirPods is how easily it connects to your phone. Just turn on Bluetooth, open the case and it connects pretty easily. It also shows the charge of each pod and the case on your phone. The sound quality is great and you can choose to use only one or both pods. If using both pods, when one falls out the sound turns off.
Had I known it wasn't going to stay in very well, I might not have purchased them because I really wanted something for working out. But the wireless component is really great so I do like using them.Read full review

The ear buds have flowered
I have used all manner of tethered buds over the years and have suffered what others have: Tangled cords, near strangulation, snags on passing pedestrians and the occasional delivery vehicles, etc. First world problems. The Airpods rock. The audio quality is good, at least for my listening choices which is usually spoken word and phone calls. Siri works great with it and my use of this digital factotum has expanded greatly, and lastly the charge lasts about a week for me. While they have not opened portals to another dimension (yet), they have fully satisfied my desire to join the herd of other humanatoms wandering the modern landscape.Read full review

The sound quality is excellent. Don’t pay any attention to the reviews that says otherwise. Connects instantly to your iPhone or iPad.
You get hours of music or streaming video sound. Fit is very very good. I do recommend an ear pod lanyard. If you are engaged in busy activity that can cause perspiration they will fall out. So a lanyard might save you the loss of one or both of them. My recommendation is get them and enjoy.Read full review

Right pod connectivity issue over multiple pieces of hardware and iphones.
My issue is that the last two sets of used airpods 1st Gen I have purchased, there has been an issue with my right pod cutting out very soon after being connected. So, the set then stops working, almost like a fuse blowing. I can then get the left ear pod working fine but anytime I add the right ear the both go out very quickly afterwards. I have an iphone 13, upgraded from an 8, and it happened to both. Makes me think there is a glitch in the software. So, I don't want to throw my seller under the bus, or the product, since it does work. But, can't figure out this disconnection issue with the right pods and it is frustrating. That is the only reason why I go 3 stars. If not this issue, would be 5. Somehow I think this falls back to apple's IOS software updates....as usual.Read full review
