Good iPod, if you don't need great accuracy the pedometer works fine. If you're running addicted and are looking for precison better get a GPS watch with heart rate etc.,.

I'm my case that was looking for training precision and music and was avoiding running with a telefone with GPS in it... wanted a small and ligh gadget...works perfectly since i always make the same 4-5 courses...i measured on Google maps the distances. With this i can run and calibrate the Nike-pod at the end of the run. Making this the iPod gets more precise and you can say after 4-5 calibrations at the end of trainings you don't need to do it any more. Does the job

I have used a small 2GB shuffle for years when at the gym, it eventually gave up the ghost last month. I purchased a reconditioned Apple 8 GB to replace it and so far I have been very pleased with it. Sound quality seems fine, reasonably easy to use, although being a bit of a technophobe I had to ask my grandson for instructions. The added bonus of radio, pace counter etc is good. It would have been handy to have had a small basic manual so I could read up on it when away from the computer, as I had problems getting it to 'shuffle'. Apple ipod Nano 6th Generation

One thing you may find when connecting this Ipod to a system using the aux input is that the sound may be distorted. It took me a while searching the internet for a solution, after trying a different lead with the same poor sound. You need to purchase a lead with the male multipin connection at one end and the 3.5mm jack at the other, and this should sort out the sound.
