Great phone -great size, great performance
128Gb RAM and a small footprint means I can get my whole music collection on and still have room for apps and photos.
Processor speed is great (same as iPhone 6) and the size is the same as an iphone 4 or 5.
I chose the SE as it has all the power and still retains the small form factor. Bluetooth works seemlessly and the wifi is great as well.
Use as a phone is good, and the 'holdability' as good as well when making calls.
Screen display is very good - but obviously not as large as the 6, 7, 8 or X.
I had one before but was 64GB, and I found that 64GB wasn't enough room for all my songs - hence the upgrade.

Good but not perfect
My old iPhone SE had seen better days so I thought I’ll buy me a new one rather than just shift battery.
Almost everything with the phone is as expected, but there is some minor flaws that I can explicate a little. The battery life is shorter than I thought it would be. When my old phone (which was exactly the same model) was new it lasted significantly longer. Another problem is that both WiFi and Bluetooth is not working as good as before. The WiFi doesn’t connect properly if I’m in the bedroom for example, which never was an issue before. Other than these issues, I am pretty satisfied. Read full review

Compact with great performance
The iPhone SE 128GB I bought is mint, I really can't see any signs of use.
I bought a phone with the biggest memory because I want to use offline maps. I have put all the open street map data for Europe on and still have 50GB to spare. The processor is fast enough to load the maps with ease.
The battery has 93% capacity and lasts me over 12 hours, so a working day away from a charger.
I wanted an SE because I want a small phone and the screen can be a bit awkward to use as a keyboard but this is a compromise I'm happy to make.

Small size!! Huge inside!!
I’ve had the iPhone 5s for years & it’s never let me down. I needed more memory, so opted for the Se with 128Gb of memory. I didn’t want the new Se, as I don’t like the bigger size of the 6/7/8, so the Se 1 is perfect for me + I can use the same case from my 5s, as well as the glass screen protectors I already had. It’s now running IOS 14 & with everything transferred over from the 5s, I still have just over 85Gb left. I can’t recommend this phone enough... it’s just great!!!!Read full review

Titchy little iPhone that does almost everything the bigger iPhones do.
So with the launch of the new iPhone 12 Mini, I was intrigued to remember what a smaller iPhone was like again, so I bought an SE. It still had the original battery, so I needed to get a new one (£15 from Amazon, plus a very anxious night getting the old battery off the sticky tape) and now it seems as good as new.
I'm genuinely shocked at how easy it is to hold - the sides are flat so it's not the slippery bar of soap that the iPhone 6 onwards were, and I can reach right to the top of the screen with one hand.
It's running iOS14, so it does pretty much everything my iPhone X does - take photos, ApplePay, internet, mail, etc. I bought the 128Gb model, because my old iPhone was 256Gb, but actually it's nowhere near full. Really, it's everything I need. So much so that although I bought it as a curiosity, I've actually switched from my iPhone X. Sure, that phone feels amazing, has an amazing screen, and seems a little bit faster, but it's so large! And the iPhone SE isn't exactly slow.
The main difference between the two is between TouchID on the SE, and FaceID on the X. I thought I'd find it hard to go back to TouchID, but actually it's no bother at all. The phone unlocks quickly. and double-clicking to switch between apps feels like second nature after a day or two. And it unlocks perfectly when you're wearing a mask — something I really didn't think about until the first time I did it. Nice.
So would I recommend the iPhone SE, even over a 'modern' iPhone like the X? Absolutely! This is possibly the last year it'll get a full OS update, but even so it'll still work for at least a few more years. And although my original purchase was to get a feel for what the iPhone 12 Mini might be like size-wise, I'm not sure whether I want FaceID again.
