A great and affordable upgrade
When my 5 year old SE started giving problems, a new iPhone was on the card. I decided on the iPhone 8 since it had relatively recently been dropped from the Apple product line-up but new examples were available. So for £215 I got my new unused and unlocked iPhone 8 in my choice of colour and a year's warranty. It's a modern iPhone which should last at least as long as my old SE, so why spend over three times as much for the latest model? I was able to transfer all my data to it easily with more storage available and use my SIM card from a SIM only deal. The only thing I did find was that I needed to log on again to some apps since they appear recognise the phone number but not the hand set. Although larger than the SE, it still fits into pockets. It looks the part, synched with my iMac instantly was put into use as my mobile phone without a hitch. The most cost effective way to upgrade.Read full review

Old design but new phone.
For a product that is 5 years old it still performs very well and has the fingerprint open along with wireless charging. Also at present receives the latest software updates. Currently iOS 16. The one received was like brand new although wasn't in a box Which surprised me and would reduce the sell on value. I don't intend to do that so no worries for me. Snappy and reliable phone that is smaller than most around which I wanted to allow me to pocket easily for my running. Read full review
