Excellent Quality

Really pleased with this maslin pan.
Holds a good quantity, is easy to clean and is very well made.
The handle is very secure and the extra handle on the side is a bonus when moving the boiling liquid.
I've made lots of jam, so much easier than using my extra large saucepan.Read full review

Ok for chutney

I bought this pan to replace my old aluminium preserving pans. I first used I'd for chutney and was impressed by the size however, some burnt to the bottom of the pan. Yesterday I made Marmalade and as it was heating up, I could see the edges of the pan going brown. The marmalade did not come to a rolling boil and at the end, there was burnt product all around the pot.
I am a very experience preserver and this has never happened with my old aluminium pans.

I can't be bothered with the hassle of returning the item so I'll just use it for chutney but would not recommend itRead full review

Excellent jam pan!

This is a very large pan with a wide surface area, perfect for jam making. The quality is very good and it cleans up extremely easily. I use it on an induction hob, no problems.

Great maslin pan

I've had an old aluminium jam pan since 1970's and because of dementia scares thought I'd get a stainless steel one. I had already made 3 batches of jam in the old pan. Made 2 more batches in new pan and what a difference - wish I'd bought one sooner. Great looking pan the bottom of which is shaped to fit the gas burner. Heat is distributed evenly.
