Easy to handle.

Simple saw with interesting options. The blade can be used either one end free or fully supported. it requires patience to make the best of cuts but that was always the way with these small hack-saws. Good product and good value.Read full review

12" MINI ONE HANDED HACKSAW

I RECENTLY PURCHASED THIS TO CUT THROUGH SOME SUSPENSION BUSH BOLTS WHICH WERE SEIZED UP SOLID AND DIFFICULT TO CUT THROUGH BY HAND EVEN USING THIS IT WAS STILL HARD GOING. THE HACKSAW ITSELF IS QUITE STURDY AND I HAVE,NT BROKEN IT YET DESPITE THE HARD USE I WAS GIVING IT, HOWEVER AS EXPECTED THE INCLUDED BLADE WAS OF A RUBBISH QUALITY FOR DOING ANY SERIOUS STEEL CUTTING SO I SWAPPED IT FOR A GOOD QUALITY SANDVIK BIMETAL BLADE WHICH I,D GOT A FEW OF AND IT WAS GREATLY IMPROVED BUT STILL A TOUGH JOB TO DO.
I WOULD SAY PRICEWISE THE SAW WAS CHEAP ENOUGH BUT THEY SHOULD PUT A GOOD QUALITY BLADE IN IT.

I found that the blade was too flexible, I thought the blade would have been less flexible and possibly the support arm closer to the end to add great

With a stronger blade it will do the job

If you replace the blade with a more robust one it will do the job as you expected. Once I did that it worked fine. The handle is okay for what it costs.

Plastic Copy - Buy Alloy/Metal Versions.

It's a plastic copy of slightly more expensive metal/alloy versions, but I'm sure it would do any small job, but how long before it breaks I have no idea, spend a £1 or £2 more and get an alloy/metal version!Read full review

Hacksaw blade holder.

You get what you pay for. Don’t overdo the use. Remember it only cost £2.98. Its good enough but don’t abuse it.

Exactly what you need to get into those hard to reach areas.

Arrived on time and with minimal packaging, good in my books. The saw is a welcome addition to the tool box.
