This is my fourth kindle hdx and I love them! This is My first 10 inch and it is a bit heavy. They tend to last three to four years for me. Only one of the four developed battery issues (which cannot be replaced in them). I broke the touch screen on the others. I don't use the camera which is lower grade than some other Android devices so if that is important to you, the Kindle may not be your go to tablet.Read full review

Needs more memory

This is a great tablet, but buy one with at least 64GB memory. Even if you install a memory chip, some of what you save goes on the internal tablet memory, so you can run out of memory fast, even if there is memory available on the chip.

I will have to say I’m a die hard apple user and the kindle fire 10 HD has one me over. Bought it for my girlfriend as a Valentine’s Day gift, she loves it and so do I! Honestly, I’m going to buy one for myself to use at work. The screen quality is amazing and the responsiveness is great! It definitely doesn’t feel like a cheap device.
