very powerful. i have 4 sets. 2 are hooked up to one tv with splitter and 20ft cords, and sounds as good and loud as Bose sourround sound systems. my living room is 24x13 and the two sets vibrate the room w/o distortions. as it ages, the screws do loosen so make sure to tighten screws.
