Perfect for home use. to hand pictures, shelves, etc. Good Value, and works well. My only issue was, the battery they send with it was too weak to operate the unit. for the price it was great. I needed to find a stud to hang a bike in my storage unit and I am tired of tapping the wall looking for the stud in order to do so. With that method it was always hit or miss. with my stud finder I no longer need to worry about making unnecessary holes in my wall.
