Excellent phone for the price. Very easy to set up and use. Suits a 65-year old like myself very well. Screen is very clear for my rather poor eyesight and response to keyboard is very good.

Heavy and power consuming

Very disappointed in the battery life. The best I'm getting is about 36 hours. For what it does it is a rather heavy phone although the bigger screen is an advantage, suppose you can't have your cake an eat it. I previously had an Alcatel 3 (2019) which is the only Android phone I can compare it with having had Windows phones prior to that. I figured the Alcatel 1 would be an upgrade for me but owing to the battery life I wish I'd looked at an alternative.Read full review

Fast.. fast fast

The only reason it does not get five stars is the battery has started to drain faster. This was after heavy usage for a few months though. The phone itself performs flawlessly and is fast fast fast compared to my old Nokia 5 which cost four times the price of this.Read full review
