Perfect for running, biking, or working in

While these headphones are not the most spectacular sound you can find, that is totally not the reason to buy these. They are fantastic for fairly accurately reproducing sound while allowing you to hear everything around you - perfect for running, biking, or working in. I find myself using them just like normal earbuds half the time since they are so compact and easy to carry along. However, you might want to buy a harder carrying case if you plan on storing them in a bag/backpack.Read full review

Great for phone calls

I bought these based on good recommendations from a coworker and a contractor. I use them primarily for handsfree phone calls and talk radio. They took a few days to get used to but I like them so much more than ANYTHING in or on my ears.

Pros: Nothing is on or in my ears. I hear everything around me when they are on my head and turned off. With music on, I can still hear most everything around me. They fit my head well enough that I can wear them all day and not get bothered.

Cons: They don't sound as good as any quality headphones that fit over or in your ears. Bass response is poor. Listening to phone calls or talk radio too loud causes them to vibrate and results in itching your face. People I'm talking to occasionally say I sound like I'm in a tunnel. Not good for airplanes due to the outside noise. I prefer my monster in-ear headphones for airplanes even though they itch.

Safe Headphones

I’ve had them for about 2 months now and I bought them to stay safe when running on the street and they do not disappoint. I’ve had some cheap ones I purchased off of Amazon and they didn’t compare to the AfterShokz. Much better more comfortable better sound quality. If you are looking for audiophile type sound these are not for you but they are perfect for running and more than satisfy with sound.Read full review

Good for safely exercising outdoors.

Replaced a broken Aftershokz Trekz Titanium. Sound is a little different, but works well. Except for sunglasses and masks over ears too, I love not having sound directly in ear. Great for keeping cell phone access and still hear traffic and voices (and nature sounds too) when outdoors.Read full review

Not quite what I expected, but still good

Sound quality comes close to, but doesn't reach, headphone quality when the earplugs are used, but at that point you're better off just using ear buds. If you're in a quiet environment there's enough noise bleed for others around you to hear whatever you're listening to. I listen to audiobooks while driving a forklift in a warehouse, and I'm able to hear everything around me AND the story, so it works well for my needs. If you have to hear around you then bone conduction is the way to go, otherwise "standard" ear buds or headphones offer superior sound quality.Read full review

Nice

I bought these hoping that I would be able to finally hear out of left ear. While I can certainly feel thumping on that side from the bass when cranked all the way up, that's about it. I do like wearing them while doing noisy yard work with the provided earplugs (I only need one of course). Way better than any other options I've used over the years. Bluetooth works great with hooking right up and all controls work as expected.Read full review

Excellent for bicycling

I bought this headset for bicycling, because it fits under the helmet and it does not need to be plugged in the ear, which would be dangerous on the bike. I only use it to be able to answer phone calls without having to stop. It works great for that purpose and you can also call up voice commands by keeping the button pushed on the left speaker. I dont think it would be great for listening to music, but that would not be very wise on the bike ( I mostly do road biking).Read full review

Nice but not perfect

First off. I like the headet.
What I like:
Connects easy.
Good Bluetooth Range.
Sound is very good to me. Sounds like I am playing music in the room.(Keep in mind I am not an audiophile).<br>Controls are easily accessible.

What I don't like:
Reading glasses can be a little uncomfortable while using it.
If you move your jaw, volume may vary

Awesome

best sound for the price. And it can connect to two devices at once. So i can go from my computer to my phone with no problem. the pouch and the bottle were added bonus. I rarely ever use them all at the same time.Read full review

Good but not great.

I got these because constantly having an ear bud in was causing me ear issues. They get the job done, less ear issues, and they are comfortable. The sound quality is good but not great. To get the best sound quality from them it is recommended that you wear ear plugs, which to me defeats the purpose.

My biggest issue is the lack of forward/reverse buttons (skip/rewind) and for some reason, hitting unpause doesn't always play last thing playing.

Aside from those things, they are great and I would buy again.
