Great for the hard of hearing
I am hard of hearing and use hearing aids in both ears. I have difficulty understanding some words because I don't hear them properly. My hearing aids help somewhat but are not perfect. I have tried several types of hearing devices and headphones, none worked but i found that these work really good. I use them to watch television and I don't miss a word. Everything is loud and clear. I would recommend these to everybody.
I am a senior and I use these strictly to understand conservation.Read full review

These are great.
To be honest, there are a lot of really positive reviews, and a lot really negative reviews for these. Some experience headaches, which you will if you turn them up to loud. That's because they aren't speakers, they vibrate sound waves, and that would make anyone sick if they were too strong. The quality varies on where they are positioned. Honestly, they shouldn't be meant to drown out sound, because that's not what they are designed do. I bought them to get around the "no headphones" policy at work. They didn't short out, and they didn't break, even after the punishment they received at times. The battery on them lasted through my 10 hour shift. I saw one other person wearing these since I bought them, and though they aren't popular, they are pretty amazing. For a neat peice of technology, 40 bucks seems fair to me. Plus, there is a two year warranty included, so that's great. The design isn't perfect, but I love them. I say give them a shot, take them as they are, and if anything send them back. They are headphones for those who don't want to drown out their surroundings, but just want a little bit of music with their life. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.Read full review

My Dad Can Hear Again. . .
I bought these for my Dad who, even though he has hearing aids, has problems hearing several frequency ranges. I wasn't sure that the bone conduction would work or not so I got these instead of the more expensive blue tooth version.
They work well and he stated that he could even hear women's voices. The bone conduction works in his case and we will be getting the blue tooth model for his phone and truck.
I tried them also, out of curiosity, and they work as well and even better than most in-ear head phones that I have tried. I will probably get a pair for my phone for when I'm bicycling.Read full review

Wait for better head phones prices to drop
These phones are ok for price but they miss out the goal. It feels like having two speakers on your head. Sound quality ok- ish but to hear properly you need to turn up vol pretty loud and it leaks out to the environment.Read full review
