I bought a Adaptive 10/22 stock for my hunting Ruger 22LR. It's very good quality and comfort fell good on hand but, remember this stock isn't a free float barrel if you want your gun barrel free float you need to modify it, the modified easy for gun smith. Like it.Read full review

Poor fit
Looks good feels good adjustable stock is nice but i had to file a lot off inside to get my receiver & trigger assembly to fit. I was disappointed & supprised by this because its a factory option for the 10/22. If i were to get another TAC stock id get a factory take off hoping it would fit better. TacStar RM4 stock
Before I modded my Ruger 10/22 I did my research - and boy am i glad I did! Many of the other mod designs out there look cool at a glance - but up close are simply fakes - NON-FUNCTIONAL add-on like grenade launchers make them look like toys.
On TacStars RM4 all the cool little add-ons are FUNCTIONAL. This looks nothing like a toy, it appears to be exactly what it is - A HIGH QUALITY TACTICAL UPGRADE - allowing the addition of Monopod built right into the design, you have the ability to add a bipod - also built into the design, a storage well for 2 mags, built right into the design. No toys in this mod.
