I had never heard of Adaptil until our vet from home (we're Florida transplants from Indiana) suggested that we give it a try. I had already purchased and tried a Thundershirt, which helped some, but we still had a terrified dog. I sprayed Adaptil on the spot on the Thundershirt and much to my surprise, our Miniature Schnauzer went into her pet taxi and took a nap. I have a puppy that is super high strung and gets freaked out by any and every loud noises there are, this spray is a godsend!! I spray it on her blanket and a few stuffed animal toys she likes and sometimes even the area where she’s going to b laying down and within 15 minutes to a half hour she’s calm as can b and or out like a lite!! Nursing Mama Dog Pheromone Spray WORKS!

I was chatting with our vet, our dog hates car rides. She’ll jump in the car super excited to go, but 30 seconds later she’s crying, panting and stressed!
Our vet sprayed Adaptil on a bandana and tied it around our dogs neck. The ride home was amazing and stress free for all of us! Our dog was the most peaceful, happy, chill dog the whole drive! The vet said it’s the pheromone a Mama dog gives off when she’s nursing her puppies. Meant to soothe and calm a dog, and it works! The vet was charging $32 per bottle, so obviously I checked eBay to order my own.
