Nice but required registration info should be listed before hanging unit.

Appears to register conditions accurately. Only complaint I have is that to register the product you have to have an ID # that is on the sensor which is already mounted high up! It would have been nice to see this mentioned in the instructions prior to hanging the unit or included in the packaging.Read full review

Good BUT read advgt clearly

The unit works fine BUT the advgt pics are misleading. You would think the color monitor goes with the unit. They should NOT include a pic of the monitor since it is not with the advgt price. I had to contact the supplier and had to purchase a black white monitor instead of a color monitor. Extra cost and extra inconvenience. Read full review

The acurite weather system is an awesome tool for any homeowner or renter to keep track of his local weather. The system is very easy to set up and use immediately. It gives you lots of information for you to decide on your own weather forecast. This is my second unit the first unit lasted 7 years in extreme weather and never failed once the reason I purchased this one was because I wanted a brand new weather machine to have just in case mine does fail. Good unit for the price.

Bought this to replace the exact same unit, as the first one stopped taking rainfall measurements after many years of use. New unit is spot on for rainfall measurement. I think the only difference between this unit and a higher priced unit such as a Davis is the amount of time between wind speed and direction updates, but for the price, this one is quite acceptable.Read full review

Easy to setup and install. Invest in the remote battery pack.. I installed new alkaline batteries, after 3 days of station use, 50% power used up. I purchased an AcuRite Remote Battery Pack, saving a lot of trips up and down a ladder. I looked for a 6 volt DC power pack from AcuRite, but no plug in supply found. Easy to set up. I did have a time understanding all the options. I wish they would invest a couple dollars worth of owners manual. Would make it a lot easier for everyone.
