A Good Product, but not Perfect

The most valuable feature of this product is it's configuration. It reaches probably 85% of the non-truck tires I need to check. Its shape makes it comfortable to hold and easy to keep from dropping. My previous gauges were not easy to hang onto.

The biggest shortcoming of the product may be the life of the on/off switch. I manage several hundred tires and try to check each one about 4 times per year. This is a repeat purchase for me because the switch in the first one I bought died after about a year.

The other weakness of the product design is the battery type. I have been unable to buy a lithium chemistry battery to fit this gauge so am stuck with the alkaline battery life, about 9 months with my duty cycle.

poor display, difficult to read, won't stay on very long

I bought this gauge based on the description saying "easy to read LCD" ... well, it is not. The ad photos must be Photoshop'd to make the display look better. In reality, the digits are dim and low-contrast, whether in the the shade or direct sunlight, they do not look like the photos. By the way, if this was an LCD display, it might be ok, but actually, this uses the old-school red LED display which was ok on a on 1970's calculator, but is laughable toy today. Save your money and buy something better such as a mechanical dial type gauge.Read full review...

Good Gauge

Seems to be accurate and pistol grip makes it easy to use. Only negative is it times out way too quickly. After checking one car tire and putting the valve cap on, by the time I get to the next tire, I have to turn it back on. Display is a bit cheap, but that's simple to overlook. I'm going to get another so I can have two on hand.Read full review...

Accutire pressure guage in convenient, easy to read and accurate.

I've had several of these pressure guages. The first one I bought lasted about eight years without replacing the battery. Always worked accurately until it just died one day. The new ones I've recently purchased have better access to the battery and work just as well. I have one in each vehicle and one at home. They are relatively inexpensive, accurate and small enough to keep in the glove box for use when needed, like before towing a trailer or when compensating for tire pressure variations due to seasonal temperature changes.Read full review...

Pumped Up!

The Gage works well, and has more features than the earlier model that I have. I like the added features, but not as crazy about the length of time it takes to clear one pressure measurement to take another. Other than that, very nice, my family now owns 5 of these :)
Thanks

A Great Digital Gauge for the Money

Why the Accutire MS-4021B handheld digital tire pressure gauge is better than expected starts with the price. For a tire gauge that can read up to 150PSI, the price point will not break your bank. You will see what your tire pressure is without having to spend more than $15. Also, the backlit LCD display comes in handy when using in low light areas.Read full review...

Quality item, but needs some feature tweaking.

Useful item, but a couple of things could be better. The font on the display in very small - you'd better have your reading glasses on to read the mode. Also, the display times out WAY too soon - it goes black so you have to press the 'on' button & cycle through to get to the right mode again. It's a great feature for saving the battery, but really a nuisance that it times out by the time you get to the next tire on your vehicle. It's really silly to have a display timeout that quickly.Read full review...

OK for the price

Its ok for the price. Judging by the looks i thought it was going to be solid with weight to it. Like a hammer the way the shape and looks of it. But its fairly light plastic. Lighting is fairly dim and Red backlit. Different ratings (psi, bar and something else etc). Fairly accurate as my old pencil gauge made each axle off 2psi per this gauge. In the racing world thats a big time difference. To a normal everyday no biggie.
For the price I would get it again later down the road.
