Exceptional value to be found with this product.
I was able to purchase my unit for a total of $15.99 USD, including priority shipping. I received an exceptional value for my money.
The scale is very fast and accurate. Unlike many digital scales, this scale does not include any function buttons that require you to hold for some amount of time. Small features like this save lots of time when shipping lots of products.
Additionally, and hard to see from the photos, the entire scale is coated with a very appealing and extremely functional rubberized coating and large flip up catcher. Again, speeding up high volume shipping by allowing the user to toss mail at it.
Very large capacity for it's size (50 lb max).
Also includes batteries and an AC adapter. The scale runs off either power source.
Finally, the manufacturer includes a huge 10-year warranty and the service address for my model (purchased in the United States) is located in California.

Not for light items!
I wish I read all the reviews before purchasing! This scale does not weigh very light items! It says it's accurate up to .2 oz, but I think it's more like 1-2 oz. You cannot use this as a kitchen scale and I am even having trouble using it for my eBay postage because I sell cosmetics and a lipstick is too light to get an accurate measure. That fact makes me worry about the overall accuracy of the scale, but it seems to be fine for heavier things. Could be good depending on your needs. I think I may need to have two scales, one for very light items and this one for heavier ones.Read full review

Perfect scale for mailing
I decided to start selling a few of my things on Ebay. I had an older scale which had quit working. I went around town looking for a postage scale and could not find anything except for high priced ones at office supply stores or food scales. The least expensive postage scale at a store was $50.00. I purchased it and then when I got home I thought .. wait a minute .. how much am I going to have to sell to get my $50.00 back before I can even see a profit on my sales? This scale is perfect for selling on eBay. A great way to weigh your items when determining shipping costs both before and after the sale. It was much less in price than similar scales at those office stores. I was a little surprised at the size when I received it; I thought it would be bigger, but it can weigh pretty much anything. Just what I needed
I was in need of a new postal scale and this will work perfectly. I like the ability to use batteries or to plug it in if I’m fresh out of batteries, and the hold button feature is very handy when weighing larger boxes. Inexpensive and reliable!
I bought this scale to replace an older analog postal scale and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. This scale is very accurate (to about 0.1 oz) which is the same as much more expensive digital scales. The directions are super easy to understand and the scale is very simple to operate. The LED read-out is bright and easy to read. It can be used with batteries or with the supplied power cord to just plug into a wall outlet. Good value and great for small items
This scale is very easy to use and does not take up a lot of room. It is great for smaller items but it is a little difficult to weigh large items due to the flip up lid. I'm not really sure why this lid needs to be on the scale and maybe it can be removed, I haven't tried.
