Solid WiFi but range difference is not noticeable

I have a few unifi AP's, I needed just a few feet extra to reach further into the garden for a WiFi socket, the LR didn't make enough difference to reach there.

Good product - just check that the LR is for you

Ubiquiti kit is very, very good and this is no exception.

Just be careful buying the "LR" versions. They work fine, but don't expect all your devices to get better reception further away - the device itself needs to have a good radio for this to happen, and this not always the case.

Deploy more "std" access points is the general rule of thumb rather than trying to install less LRs.Read full review

Ubiquiti unifi equipment is good quality made for the office environment so engineered far better than home wifi equipment so this product is great in a building like mine brick walls etc rather than cheaply built timber houses of today that do not require heavy duty wifi so this is great at a good price.Read full review

Great wifi AP. I have one to cover the whole (small) house but it covers the road outside also quite comfortably. I recently installed a second in the garage and the wireless meshing is seamless.
It helps to be slightly techie becasue the setup us via a separate application. But this is simpme too, once you understand the concept.Read full review
