The output stage of this UPS is defective... With brand new batteries and load of 100W connected to it, once you remove the main power, the UPS starts to show load of 300-500W, without any actual changes in the load. Also the output frequency goes up to 150Hz, which is very dangerous and can make more damage to the electronics it is used to protect.Read full review

the ribbon connecting the front panel with the motherboard has connectors, which is much better than the previous version of the tower - APC Smart-Ups 1500 - that was soldered directly and after some time snapped. the screen is a bonus and is not louder than my previous one.Read full review
