I needed a tough , practically unpickable padlock for my storage unit. After watching many Youtube padlock reviews the Abus 20/70 disk lock with plus core barrel was by far and away the best on offer.

Hard to operate; lubrication no help. Will probably fail to operate after a couple of years outdoor.
Difficult to operate the key, even after every interior opening was sprayed with WD-40. The lock works well enough, but I will replace it with a more rugged lock. I believe the Abus 20/70 will seize after a couple of years outdoors, The mechanism feels poorly constructed because the key is hard to turn.The disc lock it replaced had a five pin core. For over twenty five years outdoors it operated easily; though of course I kept it well lubricated. I was never concerned about the key not turning.Read full review
