Lovely adaptation of a true story

I watched this with my grandchildren as a treat as Bob is clever, loyal and entertaining just like my own cat and is also the absolute double of my cat whom the grandkids adore. I was a little worried at first when I realised that we would have to do some explaining James' addiction and illness. Thoroughly enjoyable

Wonderful film. I’ve read the books and really enjoyed reading about James and Bob, and how Bob changed his life beyond anything he could have imagined.
I hoped the film wouldn’t be disappointing, and it wasn’t. It stars Bob the cat as himself, of course. There were quite a few changes in the film from the book, but that’s expected and didn’t deter from the story at all. I found the end very moving, especially the very last scene.
