5 in 1 - My new favorite toy!
Very pleased with this. I used the strimmer attachment for about 3 hours today (quick fuel stops only) and although I was initially worried I'd find it too heavy for me, found it well balanced and easy to use. I think the shoulder strap could be a bit sturdier so may try my strap from my old strimmer next time. It cleared with ease a lot of very long dense couch grass, mature bindweed, thick nettles and was very easy to assemble and start and seems very well built. The instructions were also clear to follow. It did a lot of work for the amount of fuel it used too and the bottle supplied for measuring fuel/oil ratio was very handy. The strimmer line was also easy to replace when it ran out and the bump feed worked really well. Looking forward to trying the chainsaw attachment tomorrow. Not convinced yet....
No explanation that the bolt was reverse thread; so was tightening when thought was undoing.
Uses fuel very quickly on a small area, Smokes a lot; leaked.
Auto refeed doesn't work; and difficult to get top off to look inside.
Can not locate collar ring (do not recall receiving, but I may have)
On the plus side, whenever, I have queried anything with SGS they have always attended to very promptly.
Currently awaiting a further response as I can not get the nylon spool off!Read full review

Great quality item
I was in the market for a garden multitool and at this price point there are a few different brand.
I choose this one based on other reviews and I can honestly say they were not wrong a great quality item with very detailed British instructions.
They attachment system is very quick literally seconds to change. And each attachment has had a thorough workout.
In the first two days I had given it a a real workout and the days after have been lighter work. Mine appears a little harder to start than other reviews but no different to other 2 strokes engines.
My only change to the unit will be finer strimmer wire. The stuff you get out of the box can dessimate border plants if you arent careful.

Good Buy Garden Tool
A very good and well-made item that does the job well. It comes with a fully detailed booklet that at first seems daunting but once you get the principles the whole thing is really easy to use.
If I have one reserve about the tool it is that the work tools come on their own drive-shafts as well as being able to use the extension drive. These initial drive-shafts in themselves are quite long and once attached to the power unit you the whole assembly can be quite large. This is course keeps you safely away from the tool you are using but it means you'll use your normal garden tools for the fine-work.
The picture seems to show 5 tools, 4 tools and an extension drive-shaft. You Do get these things but the brush cutter and the strimmer use the same drive-shaft, you simply change the tool head. This is easy and does not detract from the tool in general.
If a Beast of Burden is you choice - and it was mine, then this tool is excellent for the money asked for it.Read full review

Quality
Good points. Powerful, easy to set up and use and very sturdy. Starts very easily and extension is simple to attach.
Bad points. It's heavy but then I can't compare it to other like tools. Instruction book is disjointed and explains things that aren't required. Off switch is activated far too easily which happened numerous times when in use.
I used the chainsaw to cut a few feet off the top of some Lailandi that were 8ft across. It did a cracking job and no other tool could have done it.

So far so goood
I ordered my multi tool in February and received it just a couple of days later. I was keen to try it out so braved the cold to cut my hedges. I filled it with fuel and made sure the parts that needed lubricating were serviced. Then onto starting my first pull wasn't so good as it kicked back. I then placed the tool flat on the ground and held it firmly gave it a pull and it started straight away, I let it run for 10 minutes to let the engine bed in. After this it started first time every time each time making sure it was held securely before pulling the starter handle. I have only used it for hedge trimming tool so far but was pleased how easy it was to use especially when cutting my rather tall hedges. The shoulder strap is easily adjusted to ensure it is nicely ballanced. I bought this of eBay and it does seem to be excellent value for the money. Like my title says so far so good!Read full review

Great Item
Great Item, comes with detailed instructions. First time I started it up a let it idle for 10 minutes to let the engine bed in and since then its started on the third pull every time from cold.
When I turn it off and want to re-start it, I often catch the Choke when I pull the chord by accident due to where it is located. I then try pull the throttle and it dies. Can get annoying.
Not sure if the drive shafts on the attachments are supposed to be free floating (fall out if turned upside down) sometimes I forget when Im putting the attachments away and I see them slide out, not dropped one yet but I can see them bending or breaking easy if they fall to a hard surface.
The line that comes on the Strimmer is VERY heavy duty, makes a mess of plain lawn grass. Its more suited for cutting down heavily overgrown and weeded patches so I've switched it out for something more forgiving.
Very pleased with the item though, for the price its a bargain and with basic looking after it should last a long time.Read full review

Really good tool. Bit heavy when the extension arm is fitted, even heavier with the hedge-trimmer fitted to the extension arm, but with correct balance this strimmer will make light work of the toughest garden.
