3M Perfect-it III Fast Cut Plus Polishing Compound 50417

I purchased this having had a company called Shine come out to repair some minor scratches and carpark door damage on my car.

Upon seeing the technician use the 3M Perfect-it III on some of the minor paint scratches it removed them straight away.

Having messed about with so many other so called scratch removers before I could really see with my own eyes how good this product really is.

Boat Gelcoat Oxidation

The 3M 50417 product was excellent for removing heavy oxidation and giving a perfect shiny finish. I tried using the 3M green foam pad first but found that it left lots of wet pasty waste product and made the work area messy. I changed to the white colour 3M lambswool mop and found this was much better and entirely satisfactory - no wet messy waste, just the usual dust expected when compounding.Read full review
