Well built, reliable, accurate low cost tile cutter.
Brilliant tile cutter. Accurate and a real time saver.
Currently tiling a bathroom with 600 x 300 x 10 porcelain tiles which were taking 10-15 minutes to cut using an (under-powered) electric tile saw. Bought this tile cutter and a single pass with the blade, slight pressure on the lever and every tile (so far) has cut straight and cleanly.
This even cuts 30x30x10 mosaic tiles in half cleanly.
As I'm a DIY'er who also does small tiling jobs for family and friends this is a rock solid, well built cutter and should hopefully last a good many years.
A word of advice though - the tile cutter needs setting up initially as it is supplied dismantled; and I have found that it needs adjusting and setting up before at the start of the day as the moving parts loosen during use, hence the 4-star rating.
The cutter is built in such away that it can be adjusted and set up to cut accurately; a small spanner and allen-key is supplied with the cutter to make this possible.Read full review

Tile Cutter
Bought this to tile my bathroom. Previously used a wet disc which took ages but heavy duty tile cutters like this were nearly £200 in the usual DIY outlets so took a chance on this. Glad I did! Made light work of 1cm thick tiles, some of which were textured and I thought it might struggle. I needn’t have worried. Coped well with cutting thin strips of about 3cm. The built in rulers are reasonably accurate but I always double checked and the mini laser line is really useful. It is heavy and bulky but can be dismantled to a point for storage. Great value but heavy.
I'm not a tile expert and only purchased it to do a kitchen floor. The side gauge is quick and easy to move and very accurate. Cut the tile precice and with ease. I did try it on a very large 12mm think porcelain tile (500mm long) just to see if it would cut and it did after the 2nd attempt (i did not know how much pressure to put on at first) For the cost would recommend. May be a bit overkill for what i need but it looks cool and does the job.

Tile cutter extraordinaire
When I opened the box I felt a little in awe.The cutter looked rather complicated.How wrong I was.WOW is the only word I can use.After the first attempt-which failed I had a good look at the machine and every cut since then has been brilliant.I doubted that it could cut really thin pieces-like 1cm.It does just that.

800mm tile cutter
The cutter arrived well packaged and secure inside the packaging, when opened you are confronted with the main body of the cutter complete and the arms you have to bolt on nothing to it really, once put together I strongly recommend you spend some time setting it up and do some test cuts just to get the hang of it as it needs adjusting, once done your good to go.
I found it’s really easy to use and very accurate, the bearings really do keep the cutter assembly straight and it’s easy to adjust them, the side guide rail is easy to adjust and again accurate, the mono rail is a good thickness and solidly fitted, it’s a heavy beast to carry..... The tile cutter is good for large even splits, but struggles with small trimming.
My tiles were 40cm, wide cutting 10cm off was not overly problematic, trying to split off anything less than 5cm was impossible and cost me 3 tiles before I gave up.Read full review

Excellent tile cutter, cuts 750mm long 12mm thick porcelain tile like a knife through butter, I’ve got a Rubi TS which I’ve had for donkeys years it wasn’t cheap to buy and it’s never like cutting porcelain tiles with the cutting wheels costing over £10 each. Got over 30m2 of 750x375 12mm porcelain tiles to do, the Rubi cutter is only 600mm long so even if it was capable of cutting them it’s not long enough and I didn’t fancy cutting that amount of tiles with a wet cutter and grinder so I was looking to buy myself a new bigger cutter when I come across this bad boy cutter at only £60 a fraction of what you will pay for a branded one and I’m so happy I did.
