Small, Well Built and Powerful! Not a Toy!
There are several different pistol bows on the market, but Cobra makes some top quality equipment. IT'S NOT A TOY! It's surprisingly powerful at 25ft! This particular crossbow has a metal body and composite handle/grip and cocking handle. This particular package came with and extra string and 24 extra aluminum bolts. The pistol is rated at 80 lbs. I set up mine in less than 10 minutes without a lot of effort. Cocking is easy and doesn't require much strength. The sight, like many others I've seen on lower priced crossbows isn't very good and it will require some effort to sight in correctly. I would also recommend purchasing more bolts! You WILL lose bolts quickly. They aren't very expensive. This was a great purchase and I would recommend a Cobra pistol crossbow in a heartbeat!Read full review

80LB Pistol CrossBow
Awesome little xbow! First time getting one this small but it really has a punch. Light weight, quality materials all the way around.
Unless you already have a bow vice, a 2nd set of hands is recommended for initial stringing of bow. At 80 lbs, its difficult to do by yourself.

This is not a TOY, just a lot of fun to play with.
This crossbow is so much fun to shoot. super easy to put together, just stick the bow in the slot up to the alignment markings. Put the rubber pads on both sides of the bow and put the metal pad in the front between the lock down bolt and the pad. Make sure the side of the metal pad with the dimple is facing front so that the lock down bolt screws into it. Stringing the bow is best done with two people, even if you are superman, you still don't have three hands, and using the ground scuffs the rubber tips. I don't know if it is truly an 80 pound bow but it can do some serious damage. First time I shot it, it went through the Styrofoam target my daughters practice archery on. Lost one of the metal darts when testing how far it would shoot. Going to buy a whole lot more of them. Self cocking makes it super easy to load. The auto safety is a little annoying, but, I will get use to it.Read full review

Great Investment
This Cobra Crossbow is very powerful and shoots very accurately. It works just like shown in the YouTube videos. I didn't have any experience with archery and I was able to shoot 15 times without missing the target hitting a few times in the center from a 30 feet distance. Make sure to buy extra bolts or darts, I purchased 36 for about $16 and they are great. I used some Vaseline to lubricate all the Cobra parts. Read full review

65+ better be stronger than me
This thing would have been dangerous back when i was less than 65+ but alas I'm to dammed weak to finish stringing it so until my son comes back from Europe it will have to just sit there and look menacing and if you want one like this I recommend it highly cause I can't wait to try it out it is a beautiful piece of weaponry and I found nothing negative with it at all.
