Seems reasonably OK
This arrived safely and reasonably well packaged with woven plastic inner sack (which had a slight hole, but nothing too serious). The sack has obviously been stored in damp conditions at some stage as the contents were very slightly damp with numerous lumps. However, most of the lumps were easily crushed, so although I haven't used it yet, it looks like it will dissolve reasonably well for the most part. Buying smaller quantities in sealed pots would have been better in terms of having a nice powdery product, but buying larger quantities in sacks is much cheaper, so "you pays your money and takes your choice".Read full review

Not impressed with product
Sorry but product was not as I expected. I opened the bag after 2 days to find the contents very damp and contained lots of hard lumps. I was unable to use it and brought it into the house to dry. I have used some since after sieving with course sieve and breaking up lumps with a hammer. Not really happy with the product.Read full review

Big mistake buying it
When it arrived and opened it was damp totally useless for using a spreader not any good for a domestic spreader tried to spread by hand again too many lumps for my use waste of money. It’s going to take a lot of time trying to dry it ( my time) . Read full review

Good product, badly delivered
The product is fine. The problem was that the bag on the inside was split. The outside bag had been dragged because there were scuff marks and little holes in it allowing it to seep out when moved. I now have a brown stain along my driveway, which I can't clean up.Read full review

Ferrous Sulphate
Brilliant for killing moss and greening up the lawn, far better than lawn sand as you're not paying for a bag of sand. Very economical too, I mixed at the stronger rate at 280gms per 8ltr watering can as my lawn is thick with deep moss and by the next day was blackening fast. It is also surprisingly ok to use if you have cats and dogs as it isn't harmful to them and i can back this up as our log licked its paws rigourously every time it walked on the lawn (It even licked the grass).Read full review
