Engine Scanner
Bought for locating an error code on a Porsche Boxster. Saved a fortune by not going to a main dealer.
Very easy to use with simple illustrated instructions and the fault code was found straight away.
The code indicated wasn't on the list supplied in the instruction book but located it on Google.Read full review

OBD2 Reader
Certainly a cheap fault code reader. Do not be put off by the price. This device does what it is meant for and super straightforward to use. I have two other more expensive fault code readers which are more complex to use. I certainly prefer this one to use before using the other ones I own. It needs to be noted. After using the fault code reader on your car. If your car fails to start after scanning for faults. Simply lock your car and then unlock it after a couple of seconds. All will be well. Great product.Read full review

Limited uses
This is not suitable for Fiats, and other makes despite being advertised as such. There are much more versatile scanners on the market for a little more. This one needs an overall of the software.

A bargain - if it works for your vehicle.
The device works as intended and reads error codes, unfortunately, it won't clear the codes on my 2003 Renault Trafic despite giving a confirmation message that they are deleted. I haven't tried it on any other cars. It was worth the price to try and save on garage prices by it looks like that's where I am heading. Read full review

Fault Code Reader a practical bit of kit.
A nice unit in its own case, easy to use and a practical bit of kit which can stay in the tool box until needed. A generic unit which can be used with various vehicles.

Great product
Garage called to charge me £95 to hook my car (A6) up to Diagnostic machine to tell me what needed repaired as my engine management light had come on.
I went online and bought this scanner and then told the garage what was required myself without the outlay of £95.
Easy to use - plug in press the button and read the codes and it also allows you to reset the management light with the press of a button.
Great product and tells you the problem without looking up the code online.Read full review

MS 309 - not working on Corsa C 1.2 (2001)
I connected it to my Corsa C 1.2 confort petrol (2001) as dashboard showed spanner symbol . Reader shoved that 2 codes are present but when I tried to read them scanner shoved that no codes were stoted on scanner. No instructions come with the scanner - waist of money. I ordered different scanner from different source as I am in need of one.Read full review
