Portable air dehumidifier eggs
Have used portable air dehumidifier eggs for many years and have found them to be very effective at keeping excess humidity under control in a relatively small space. No moving parts and no power requirements during use. The indicator strips (one each side of the mounting stand) are useful indicators of how much moisure the egg has collected and when a reactivation by heating the egg to dry the contents using either a conventional or microwave oven is required. A repeat purchase as additional eggs were required for a another area to be dehumidified.Read full review

Disappointing.
The pink colour meaning wet and blue meaning dry are very confusing. Eggs arrived pink and one egg's indicators stayed pink even when microwaved twice according to instructions. The other egg's indicators turned faintly grey blue but had changed back to pink twelve hours later. Both eggs were standing on kitchen worktop in dry atmosphere.
The indicators were papery thin strips and fell out of the indicator holder when the egg was pulled out of the holder. The holder did not hold the indicators close to the egg.Read full review

im not too impressed with these dehumidifying eggs, I followed the instructions to activate them but the panel at the side never changed colour, in fact the sides don't seem to touch the sides of the egg I cant really see how they are going to work. and when your activating the eggs in the microwave it makes a bit of a mess. and the egg stand isn't very good quality especially the side panels very shabbyRead full review

Small but effective.
It's small and only takes a few minutes to dry out in microwave. It's doing a good job absorbing moisture from my bay window which tends to stream in cold weather. I personally with arthritic fingers find the rubber bungs a bit hard to insert and remove, but I do understand that they have to be super tight to be effective.
