This Bison Umbrella is a fairly good product for the price and should cope with most British weather. On the downside the stitching has not been taped and so water will be able to get through the material eventually and this could have been easily fixed by the company. I do like its size and the long spike for securing the umbrella, another nice inclusion are the pegs for securing the sides if used as a wind break. The price asked for the product here is very good but I would not pay the full full retail price for it.Read full review

It’s ok for shelter but it’s NOT waterproof. The joins in the umbrella which there are eight of leak slightly. Also the zip leaks.

Good quality but it leaks in the rain. If you want it totally waterproof you have to seal the 8 joints on the umbrella and the zip

Full size shelter

The pictures do not do this shelter justice and if it had a different name on it the price would be treble The umbrella is the size of a pub table canopy made of rip-stop woven nylon. One quick action has it fully opened up, a bonus in this country, the head tilts and the sides are quickly zipped to the canopy. The bottom of the sides can be pegged down like a tent, there are also two guy-lines to anchor the shelter in windy weather. Once opened the center pole can be adjusted to give you over 6 feet standing room. With the sides pegged in place the shelter is large enough for all your fishing gear and, if wanted, a small cooker. We live close to the beach so this shelter will be coming with us each visit. I can highly recommend this as an essential part of your fishing kit, at this price it's silly not to.Read full review
