Bedside listening
What a great little wireless, amazing reception and, although not huge volume, more than enough in the bedroom. I have to admit that the instructions are perhaps not the easiest to understand, but, with a little perseverance simple settings are fairly easy, tuning, sleep and alarm are fairly simple. This unit is an alarm clock radio an it functions extremely well as such. The display is very clear and when dimmed is still very clear and certainly not to too bright. The dimmer/mute on the top is a little fiddley but its not a high spec or expensive unit and, for me, is ideal.

large display, big control knobs
You definitely need to read the manual to set this up properly, but once done it's fine.
The speaker isn't that great, no bass and not much mid-range.
Display is large and bright, doesn't dim down enough.
The control knobs are a decent size so easy to use when fumbling in the dark.
Overall I'm satisfied having paid £20, but I wouldn't want to pay much more.Read full review

Great little DAB clock radio
I bought this as a replacement for a really crackly DAB radio, the sound quality was very poor, but I'm so pleased with this one. I had it out of the box and all set up and ready to go in a couple of minutes. The clock face is bold and easy to read, tuning and storing your favourite radio stations couldn't be simpler and the sound quality is very good for a unit of its size and price range. Would have given 5 stars if.......
This is a great little product. Everything about it is great apart from one thing and the reason why I did not give it a 5 star rating. That is the instruction manual. After following the manual for over half an hour on how to set the alarm I took the whole thing to my local Currys' to see if it could be exchanged or if they could show me what to do. At first the staff themselves could not set the alarm by using the manual and were having the same problems as me (which cheered me up somewhat because I'm 70 and they were all considerably younger so I didn't feel a useless old fogie). Then a young member of staff asked if he could try and work it out because he had dealt with the same problem a few weeks before. I agreed and he simply showed me a different way to set everything which was so easy we could not work out why the manual tells you the wrong button to press. Thank goodness someone in Currys' knows what to do, but surely if 3 other members of staff and one old fogie can't get things to work from the manual instructions it would be worth while having the manual checked and replaced with the correct instructions. Great Radio , needs better instructions in the box
This little radio has a really clear display and the sound quality is excellent. There's a dimmer button for night-time if you prefer a darker screen.
It's basic functions suit me perfectly, I had an Internet DAB radio previously and probably used the Internet function twice.
It's missing clear instructions but I found an excellent online manual that helped me with initial set up and tuning.

excellent little radio for the money..
this is an excellent little budget digital radio.. it's slightly "different" to program but once you've got the hang of it it's fine..
in our poor reception area the reception is superior to our other more expensive radios..
the sound lacks the "quality" feel but is clear, crisp and easy to listen to..
the controls are a little fiddly but the radio is small so has small controls..
