Tiny device full of smarts
I wanted to bring my oldish, but great sounding, hifi system a bit more up to date by adding a bluetooth input. I did a few hours investigation and this was the best unit I found at the price I wanted to pay. It works a treat out of the box. No set up just plug in the cables and paired my android phone to it immediately. Devices paired using aptx HD off the bat. Has it's own DAC and connects direct to amp. I also have my own Musical Fidelity DAC and it connects to that using optical cable. Probably the Musical Fidelity decoder is marginally better to my ear but the built in ESS Sabre is sweet for under $100. Unobtrusive little device that works perfectly.Read full review

Updating old stereo
