Stardrrops Cleaner.
I've used this for someyears now. I first saw it in Sainsburys some time ago and though "I like that old fashioned smell it has".I was surprised how good and versatie it is .
Sainsbury's stopped selling it and I could then get Stardrops in Asda but that was only for a short while. So I have been buying on line for about two years.
Nowadays people have been goaded into buying household products with awful articicial perfumes and that includes fabric softeners ,and the supemarkets are not prepared to push products that have the traditional scent of fresh cleaning materials.
Anything purporting to be about Sea Breezes usually has a vile cloying and nausitaing smell about it. No so with Stardrops.
I have recomended this to friends, and one said "I remember my aunt selling it in her shop just after the War" Stardrops also gets a mention in one of the early Call the MIdwife programmes. Pam Ferris (SIster Evangelina) tells some one to clean the sink with some Stardrops. So there you are!Read full review

Always used this product for years and found it great for so many cleaning jobs especially windows. But this lot doesn't seem to be quite the same as if it has been weakened in some way and the price is extortionate compared to when I purchased it last time only a couple of years ago when you could find it at approx £1 a bottle, . ..but for Stardrops I will make an exception. Best hard surface cleaner ever. Great for washing up as well,use one teaspoon full in a bowl of water. Use one tablespoon in 5 litres of water for hard surface cleaning. A fantastic and cost efective all rounder from my childhood and just as good today as it always has been.Read full review

A real all round cleaner
This product is something I have used for many years now. It is becoming increasingly difficult to locate it, however I was thrilled to find it here on eBay. This product is particularly good as a glass cleaner. A tiny amount in a basin full of warm water and a microfibre cloth, and you will whiz through all your glass cleaning in one go. I also have used it for washing dishes when I've run out of washing up liquid. It is a fantastic stain remover on laundry and a very versatile product. I wholeheartedly recommend this product. I also like the fact that it is putrid to taste and therefore not a danger to children. Give it a go, it will save you pounds!!!Read full review

At last - found some
Can't seem to buy this item in supermarkets nearby as none seem to stock it. Even asked a family member living over 70 miles away to try to bring some over next time she came to stop with us but she couldn't find any in shops either.
