Wasn't totally confident at first about the patch kit, but just got it in the mail and very surprised at how well it works. Good investment.

This is not a boot or wader repair kit.

This kit uses patches which are not suitable for boot repairs. They are thin transparent and do not have the strength to repair a split in a rubber boot.
However I have used the awning and tent repair kit which worked great on our caravan awning. ( In my opinion the patches were the same in both kits and not suitable for a boot repair.Read full review

I was very sceptical about any glue working especially on a seam on Wellington boots but hey Preston it really works well recommended.

Hit & Miss...

This has worked for two repairs and failed on two others.
Both Wellington grade rubber and not too sure about the actual bond strength.

mending wellingtons as per description. surprised at the tiny tube of glue stick on patches a good size
cleaned and roughened as per video
tried patch, came off first use.
tried glue - didnt seal
